ACTIVISTS NEED YOUR HELP!

Activists Sheila Laracy, Gina Lynn, and Karin Brooks have been sentenced to 90
days in jail for their non-violent civil disobedience action at
Bullock's in Los Angeles to educate shoppers about the cruelty of fur.
All three are hunger striking in protest of their unjust sentences.

We need to let the legal system know that jailing
activists only unifies us, and makes us stonger and more determined to
fight our common enemy!

Here's how you can help:

CALL THE JAILS/COURTS!

Demand the immediate release of all three prisoners. They already served
three days in jail when first arrested. They should be released for time
served. Criticize them for abusing the criminal justice system in an
obvious attempt to silience political activists.

Jail Booking: 213-780-2600

Sherriff's Dept: 213-526-5541

Sentencing Judge, Keith Schwartz (phone number TBA)

Call the numbers at least once a day demanding an update on the
activists and their release!

WRITE THE PRISONERS

Write letters of support and encouragement to the prisoners. Their
address is:

(start with their name and include their prisoner number. You must write
each one seperately)
Karin Brooks #4895452
Sheila Laracy #4895454
Gina Lynn #4895455

(Then include the prison's address)
Sybil Brand Institute
PO Box 86164
Terminal Annex
Los Angeles, CA 90086-0164

PROTEST THE JAIL!

On Saturday June 13 at noon there will be a protest outside of the Sybil
Brand Institute. Please call (714)574-0174 for direction to it. If you
live near LA or have a way to get to LA by then (hitch hike, ride a
freight train, bus, drive, fly, etc) Please do it! We need to have a
strong show of support for these activists and let the system know we
will not tolerate their politically motivated sentencing!

Protest vigils will be held EVERY DAY so if you can ever get out to LA
then be sure to join in and help out!

DONATE MONEY!

We are raising funds to help cover the costs of the activists' rent.
While they are in jail, they can't work and they fear losing their
apartment (not to mention their jobs!). We told them not to worry about
it as we will help cover those costs (rent is one of the last things
these brave activists should have to worry about). So we are accepting
donations at No Compromise to help the jailed activists.

Send them to:

No Compromise/Jail Support
PO Box 240655
Apple Valley, MN 55044

Mark them for "Jail Support" so that we know it is for them.

NEVER, EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SHOP AT FEDERATED DEPARTMENT STORES!

Federated Department stores continue to sell the misery-laden fur
products which these activists were protesting. Be sure to boycott all
Federated Stores, they include: Macy's, Lazarus, Burdines, The Bon
Marchi, Sterns, Bullock's, Rich's, Goldsmith's, Bloomingdale's, and
Jordan Marsh. Be sure to tell all of your friends to never shop their
either until they stop selling fur!

PROTEST FEDERATED!

No Compromise and the Coalition to Abolish the Fur Trade are planning to
have a nationwide day of attack against as many Federated stores as
possible in protest of their continued sale of fur and to show support
for the jailed activists. Call JP Goodwin at 901-725-7595 or e-mail
Freeman at <wick0034@gold.tc.umn.edu> for more information.

CALL FEDERATED!

Now is the time to pick up the heat on Federated. Call them at
1-800-261-5385 and demand they stop selling the murdered and mutilated
bodies of murdered animals! Call them every day if not more! If you call
them repeatedly, be sure to call from a pay phone so they can't trace
the number back to you. Each call costs them money and hopefully causes
them some aggrivation -- although it is nothing compared to what the
animals suffer.

COPY THIS MESSAGE AND GIVE IT TO OTHERS!

Tell as many other animal/prisoner support activists about this as
possible. We must all come together on this one and show the abusive
system just how much power we have when they piss us off. It is time to
teach them a lesson.

Please don't let the animals or the activists who are fighting for them
down.

For Total Liberation,

Freeman
