FOR A NATIONAL DEMONSTRATION AGAINST THE RACIST LAW ISSUED BY THE GOVERNMENT
LEAD BY LAMBERTO DINI

The racist law issued by the government - with the help of the
center-left wing - is a serious attack to our freedom. Our brothers and
sisters coming from outside European Union, are already incredibly exploited,
and now they are deprived of all their rights. The result is that now there
will be even more clandestine than before, and more expulsions, more
repressions, without counting the criminal punitive expeditions of the various
racist groups.
Lega Nord (a political party whose main goal is the separation between the
northern and the southern part of Italy), the right wing, the government
with the help of PDS (Partito Democratico della Sinistra = Leftist Democratic
Party, the former Italian Communist Party) are building an apartheid system.
They must be stopped now! It is possible! It is necessary to react by
fighting and by having a mass partecipation against this racist law.
For this reason, all the people who subscribed this document are asking the workers,
young people, the unemployed, people from the left wing, the communities, the anti-
racist associations, the trade unions, all the real democratic forces to go into
the streets and protest, together with our brothers and sisters coming from
countries outside European Union.
We are all trying to promote a national demonstration, with one clear
goal: THE IMMEDIATE WITHDRAWAL OF THE GOVERNMENT'S RACIST LAW.
