LOCAL DAYS LIBERTARIAS, MEDELLIN, NOVEMBER 2009: ONE STEP FURTHER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A LOCAL ANARCHIST MOVEMENT ---- Since 1998, Colombia had made a series of meetings organized libertarian locally and nationally known as LIBERTARIAS DAYS, aiming for the match and consolidation of processes anarchists. The days are few opportunities for socialization of topics important to the libertarian and critical awareness training in a country that relegates the enclosure thought to be of great danger to their establishment. Each group organized in different regions of the country has a reference or libertarian view of days depending on the process, however, is to recognize what has generated the process of working as a libertarian web site creation www.nodo50.org / anarcol /. With the event held in Medellin in 2004, and the emergence of a joint space anarchist collective called Anarchist Local Coordination, CLA in 2007.

By November 2009, in Medellin, we met several collectives and individuals related to anarchist ideas, to organize another version of LIBERTARIAS LOCAL DAYS in which, as anarchists, we try to analyze and generate discussions on social realities , questioning the socio-political and economic environment in which we live, share experiences, actions and share with the processes of resistance from the grass roots and the various forms of popular struggle.

We believe that with collective efforts we get a good event later, but it needs to reflect our fellow libertarians, since one of the most marked weaknesses in these meetings was the lack of articulation of the basic work of anarchists l @ s at local.

The local Libertarian Conference were there during the last weekend in November in three different spaces: the University of Antioquia, the headquarters of ADIDA (Association of Instructors of Antioquia) and the headquarters of the Community Action Board of Santa Cruz district. In these places we have good attendance for the development of lectures, talks and workshops around 3 main themes proposed in programming, with a traditional pot Community and the sale of libertarian (zines, patches, disks, papers, among others).

The first axis was on the Minga de Resistencia Social y Comunitaria. Several compañer @ s that have been part of the process in Medellín, realized about how this process is what brings us to 2010, marking the journey of the word and the social struggle from five points: Sovereignty, Land and Territory; Right to life unfulfilled agreements, NAFTA, Economic Systems and agenda of the peoples who are part of a joint effort of knowledge for the construction of realities worthy and solidarity, biodiversity, towards the unity of the social and popular movements.

In the second area, called the criminalization of protest and other forms of state terrorism, addressed issues related to the pursuit of the state through its legal machinery, military, judicial, to dissent, to social protest in order to weaken and finishes to maintain the established order. And with the third axis, Popular Struggle and Identity, sought to know the modalities for the control of various popular social sectors: workers, indigenous peoples, peasants, Afro, youth, students and community. Also featured notes on the claim of the peoples' struggle to forge an identity that counters the established order at present, of popular shades, where the social sectors depend on the geography, economy, politics and culture.

According to these two axes, are crucial issues overflowed attended the local, such as human rights, collective actions of resistance and social demands or fight the proposal sociopolitical feminism, as well as tools for dissemination and knowledge of the indigenous struggle in Chile. Some paper titles were: "The fight for decent housing, evictions and struggle between loans office in Bogota," "Mutations of the state and its repressive methods: DD.HH. situation in Medellin," "Records of action and collective violence in the general strike of May 1977 in La Ceja, Antioquia "," women's movement and the libertarian aspirations of the feminist political project in Cali. "

The only local libertarian past days have been a step toward building a local anarchist movement. Are traces of a recent history of 11 years of anarchist movement in Colombia, conspiring against capital and revolutionizing our minds to operate in the streets. This event was created by anarchists to society. It is a space for dialogue, to build our identity ... questions remain, differences and flaws that we solved in the way conflicts are necessary to mature the processes, which makes them strong.

The union, action and self-management is our way, we hope that by 2010 we could meet in the Conference National libertarian.
