On agricultural communes in Israel.

Israel was built by settler colonialists and is even today this
kind of country. The communes in it were in the 1920-1950
years the paramilitary avantgard of the Zionist project.

However, Tens of thousands persons built about 200
communes which were internally managed in the real
communist libertarian mode.

The individual commune was managed by direct participation
democracy. Weekly assemblies of the members was the highest
authority. All posts were rotated with usually one year at post.

It was from each according to his/her ability to each according
to hir needs.

Children were raised in children houses of their own from birth.
(Accessible to parents and taken home daily for few hours at
the evenings.)

Formally, there was perfect equality between the genders. In
most of the aspects of life it was also so in fact.

Many of the people who joined the communes came there or
remained, just because the communist libertarian internal way
of life.

About third of the commune movement was of followers of
a Leninist Zionist movement that supported in fact the settler
colonialism, but was also for a leninist party of their own and
for social revolution.

I am not going to describe in details the communist libertarian
aspects which deteriorated along the years.

I just want to bring the fact that lately, in each of 82 of the 84
communes of this 22 thousand members movement, the
majority voted that no commune in the movement can change
it principles to the allocation of values to comrades according
to their specific contribution.

If some people want to take a glimpse at the way these
communes were functioning, there are some books in
english about it.

For sure these communes were not of communist libertarians
of any trend - just settler colonialists... For sure many of the
egalitarian aspects were compromised with the
industrialization and the exploitation of hired work slaves
from out of the communes... But it is like a living laboratory
any libertarian can learn from.

My conclusion, based also on taking part in this movement
for 17 years, is that after the abolishing of the class-society
mode, people will fast and easy adapt to communist libertarian
mode based on participation democracy.
