In Vancouver, Canada, the Fifth anniversary of the Zapatista uprising will
be celebrated by street theatre.

Five years ago, in Chiapas, Mexico, the start of the North American Free
Trade Agreement was marked by the uprising of a mainly indigenous group,
the EZLN or Zapatistas. The Zapatistas saw NAFTA as a death sentence for
indigenous people in Chiapas. If you are in Vancouver, Canada on this
date, please come out and help support this struggle on January 1.
Their struggle is our struggle.
