Trade union announcement about the Christmas bonus at Amazon ---- On October 18, both trade unions operating at Amazon OZZ "Inicjatywa Pracownicza" and NSZZ "Solidarnosc" gave the employer a joint position regarding the introduction of "Bonus Bonus for Holidays". During several weeks of difficult negotiations, we managed to shorten the bonus period and increase the bonus amount to PLN 1,500 gross, as well as expand the catalog and increase the number of incidents that do not affect the bonus. Thank you to everyone who supported us during the talks with the employer. Your adamant attitude has strengthened the unions at the negotiating table. ---- The right to the Bonus is acquired separately for the period from November 24, 2019 to December 7, 2019 ("The first bonus period") and for the period from December 8, 2019 to December 21, 2019 ("The second period bonus ''). The bonus for each bonus week is PLN 375 gross (half of this for half-time employees) and will be paid with remuneration for December. An employee loses the right to the bonus for a given bonus week in the event of one or more absences during it. An employee loses the right to a bonus for a given bonus period if he or she has two or more absences in that bonus period, but can still get bonuses for the second bonus period.

Absence should be understood as any unjustified and excused absence, also in overtime, except for min. occasional leave, occupational medicine examinations, downtime or a maximum two-hour visit to the infirmary. Early departure and being late to work are treated as absence, however, if the employee left work no earlier than 2 hours before time or was late for work no more than two hours, it is treated as 0.5 absence. Annual leave is not an incident if it was accepted before November 24. In addition, unions appealed, citing the public interest, that on December 24, 2019, all Amazon Fulfillment Poland magazines would only be used by employees who volunteered to work overtime.

The union also reminds that a strike referendum is still ongoing:

The strike referendum at Amazon has been going on since July and will continue in all magazines. We launched a screenshot for the Strike Fund. The end date of the referendum has not been set. Over 5,000 have voted so far. people - over 30% of the crew from all over Poland. Trade unions demand 1. Worthy increases (PLN 25 per hand) 2. New employee assessment (stop feedback / adaptom). 3 Stable working conditions - contracts for an indefinite period. Amazon broke mediation, so we must show strength, determination and unity: to be entitled to strike, 50% of employees must take part in a referendum, of which 50% must vote for the strike.

EVERY VOICE MATTERS! If you think that a strike should take place, put a cross on "YES". If you think a strike is not a good solution, select "NO" on the ballot or online ballot paper.

WHY ARE WE COLLECTING NAMES AND DATE OF BIRTH / PESEL? Data will be at the union's sole disposal. If Amazon decides to undermine our vote, it will have to go to court. We will not provide the company with a letter with names, but we must have evidence that the vote is conducted fairly and the votes are actually cast by employees.

WHO CAN VOTE? Everyone, regardless of seniority, position or type of contract. Also people on long-term sick leave and on leave (including maternity leave). Your vote will matter, even if you want to change jobs soon. Agency staff can sign the petition.
