Presentation: We will hold the International Conference "150 years of the International Association of workers", not only for the convenience of the date, as well as, or even more, we mean the opportunity to discuss the revolutionary traditions of dento International and their contributions to the shaping of class trabalhadora in the nineteenth century. The International was the stage, between the years 1864 and 1876, the memorable debates which resulted in important part of organizational forms used until the present day in the union and popular movement. Was still inside that appeared to sharpen the ideological proposals of communism and anarchism, as well as its postulates and its tactical and strategic differences.

Among the discussions on labor, anarchism and communism movement is inevitable to include and highlight the 150th anniversary the International Workers Association - AIT - or First International. We must take into account that the AIT had a strong influence in Brazil and, even today, has importance with regard to political issues and organization of the Brazilian labor and trade union movement.

At the historical moment in which we live, the economic crisis afflicting many countries Europe has had important consequences in politics, especially in mobilizing large masses. The intensification of these popular events, including Brazil, led (and lead) the streets thousands of people, mostly young people, raising numerous economic, political, social and ethical claims.

With these considerations and approaches to recognize the need to consider important .
