Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) North East Regional Convention October 23-25 
Hosted by Rochester SDS at the University of Rochester Rochester NY, at the Flying 
Squirrel Community Space ---- Hey Northeast SDS-ers! ---- It's that time of the year 
again! Get ready for the Northeast SDS regional convention, hosted by Rochester SDS. This 
year's convention has been combined with the Northeast Action Camp - meaning that there 
will be lots of excellent workshops and skill sharing alongside discussions about strategy 
and collective liberation. ---- The Top 6 Reasons why you and your chapter should come to 
this convention: ---- 1. Meet other SDS chapters from around the Northeast ---- 2. Come to 
awesome trainings to build organizing skills ---- 3. Workshops by ally organizations
4. Collective liberation - discussions and workshops to help move us forward on fighting 
oppression inside and outside SDS!
5. Less structure! We swear!
6. Halloween party. 'nuff said.
