Editorial: ---- A Space Inside is Auckland’s only anarchist collective. A motley collection of punks, students, rabble-rousers and career rebels we have been meeting regularly to discuss politics, drink and eat together since the start of the year. We meet on Wednesday nights at 7:30pm at 193a Symonds Street. This is an informal and friendly space for anarchists and anti-state communists to come along and talk politics, activism and whatever. ---- Our informal manifesto is simply: ---- "@ space inside" literally refers to our goal, we seek through discussion, theorising, strategising, networking, critical debate and informed action to create a space inside the empire, inside the matrix of social relation that exist between the state on one hand and capital on the other, a space from which to build a new anarchist movement for an anarchist century.

This is our first contribution to the rest of the anarchist community and our first collective project. Inside you will find an interview with collective member Goren about anarchism in Russia; an article on OCAP by Chris Z, another collective member; a DIY to stencils and a couple of stencils you can use yourself, which were made by Mike our friendly anarchist from Tucson, Arizona, a radical history of Auckland; and an opinion piece by Tyler on why the best things in life are anarchistic.
