A-Infos (en) Russia, Anarchist killed in Belorechensk

25th of December 2006 one more anarchist from Belorechensk died (first, 
in April of 2003, was Ost). He was my friend and a great person - Kostya 
Shibidko. We called him "Poet", because he used to write poetry from 
early childhood. He preferred pseudonyme Yasher (lizard). In one of the 
december evenings Poet was returning from his friends. But he never made 
it to home - he was found in a dark side street with his head crushed. 
He was in a coma for few days, doctors gave little hope. But we all were 
hoping. Somehow we could not believe, that Poet was dying. And in the 
morning of 25th of December, I heard that he is dead, and I cried. It 
was so strange - how could it be he?

He become one of the activists of Anarchist Movement in Belorechensk, 
soon after death of Ost (as if he was a replacement). Just as Ost was 
publishing his own anarcho-punk zine Ochag, Poet was publishing a 
handwritten zine "Novaya Pena", which included lyrics from anarchist 
musical project "Mers i Yasher", which was organised by Poet together 
with Mers, and which recorded five albums. Poet began writing latest 
issue of "Novaya Pena" just recently, but could never finish it.

In my last visit to Belorechensk, in summer of 2006, we were sitting in 
second floor of his old cottage, in which he was living separately from 
parents. It was three or four of us, we were drinking cheap portwine and 
speaking about death. We were commemorating Ost. And i say "Dam it, let 
us love each other as long as we are alive! Why do we began valuing 
people close to us only when they are dying? Let us now chat like it was 
last time in our lives!". Others were silent, but Poet said that he will 
be the next to go. And I was shouting "why are you talking this!", and 
we were all drunk and hugged each other, and said that we love each 
other, that we will always be together.. and I tried to relate to them 
as it was the last time. And as always, I could not work it out.

Kostya was 31 years old. He left 2 young daughters, of 3 years and 8 
months of age. 3 years old Alisa is now orphan, as her mother left her 
when she was one years old.
