The next organizing meeting for the 1st Annual, 1st Ever NYC Anarchist Bookfair
will be Wed., Jan. 10, 7pm at ABC No Rio, 156 Rivington Street (between Clinton
& Suffolk) in Manhattan.
Plans are moving ahead for the bookfair at a rapid pace, and we need you to get
involved and help make it work!
The bookfair will be held Sat., April 14, 2007, 11am to 7pm, at Judson Memorial
Church on Washington Square South in Manhattan. Between now and then, we will
need to:
-- Organize for upwards of 60 anarchist publishers and self-publishers,
booksellers, and others to exhibit at the bookfair.
--Organize the accompanying zine fair.
-- Organize child care and animal care.
-- Organize food.
-- Organize an exhibition of anarchist art and video to go along with the book
portion.
-- Select applicants for a series of workshops, panels, individual
resentations, and skillshares to accompany the bookfair.
-- Create posters, banners, and flyers to publicize the show.
-- Get word out to the anarchist community in the USA and around the world.
-- Organize a party for end of day.
-- Etc, etc. We're getting creative!
PLEASE FORWARD WIDELY! The 1st Annual, 1st Ever NYC Anarchist Bookfair is only
four months away and we need your help, imagination, and support!
