(en) The European PGA* conference - texts

Date Sat, 30 Sep 2006 15:26:50 +0300

Here are a few important infos for all people and collectives who took
part in the European PGA conference, and for others who wish to get
reports and news about what happened.
First, thanks to all participants for the great times & discussions, for
the crazyness and energy, for the projects coming out of all this!
A first conference newspaper with reports about workshops and projects
coming out of the various decentralised gatherings has been published
during the conference. Its available in PDF format, to read and print:
- in english: http://pgaconference.org/files/PGA2006-newspaper-EN.pdf
- in french: http://pgaconference.org/files/PGA2006-newspaper-FR.pdf

It's a bit long, but it gives a fairly good overview of the diversity of
outcomes of this conference. It would be great if it could be spread
around infopoints, in order to be distributed!

A second newspaper should be edited, featuring articles and reports from
the centralised moment of the conference, and a synthesis of the PGA
process discussions and new projects. It can also include articles that
didn't appear on the first conference newspaper.

There's not many articles in it yet. If you participated in a meeting or
workshops during the centralized part and took notes, please consider
writing an article! If would be great, so that we don't forget what was
discussed, nor what is supposed to happen afterwards, so that those who
couldn't attend get a glimpse of what was said.

All contributions should be sent as soon as possible to

We invite you all to take some time to write a few words about this
conference: feedback about the contents, logistics, relationships
between people, personal stories...

We would love to get written accounts on the conference. It would help
the STAMP collective a lot to know the way people feel about the
contents and the conference organisation, in order to evaluate what

More generally, sending feedback about this conference on the process
list would help to give continuity to the PGA process, maintain energy,
and possibly find ways towards a new conference.

A call for infopoints - both new & old ones - has been edited during the
conference. You can find a small questionnaire on

Please spread it around you, share it with PGA-friendly collectives,
fill it and send it back to pga-infopoints@pgaconference.org

This survey will allow the PGA infopoint list administration crew to put
up a new PGA infopoint list on the website, which should be available
together with a specific infopoint webpage containing various
PGA-related documents.
