Date Thu, 26 Oct 2006 11:02:47 +0200

Today, the greek riot police brutally assaulted the antiauthoritarian bloc
after the great march against the education reform in Greece. A lot of
people participated in the march, including primary school teachers who
are on their 6th week of strike, high school teachers and students and
university students (most of them from occupied departments).
The police assaulted the bloc AFTER the end of the march. Most of the people
were beaten with no remorse, while two protestors were arrested. The police
continued beating the two protestors at the police headquarters in Athens
and at some time the protestors were taken to the hospital. Tommorow morning
they will appear before the public procesutor to hear their charges.

Our comrades are innocent! Their only crime is that they marched in
solidarity with the striking teachers and students. The police and the
state once again displayed their utterly fascist face.
