(en) Canada. Montreal, Benefit show for the arrestees of the student strike!

It would have been a cold winter in 2005, but instead it was
brought to life by the student movement and the unlimited general strike
from february-march. However, where there's smoke, there's fire, and
many strikers have still not been cleared of charges resulting from their
struggle: they are still being held in the claws of the INjustice
system, and many of them are still fighting in the courts! These trials
are costly, and the bills are racking up... So we are inviting you to come
out to a benefit show on May 5 2006!

Ontario east, metro Berri), in Cafe l'Exode (3rd floor by the entrance)
**What?**
. Music! Starting at around 7pm, with Nul Si Decouvert (hip-hop), Open
Wounds (grindcore metal), and Downshift in Case (ska-core)
. Food by donation!
. 2 dollar beers!
. A series of 4 original t-shirts with an unlimited general strike theme!
. The book "Carre Rouge", reflecting on the strike!
. Information tables with many Montreal groups and collectives!
The evening will continue at 2035 St-Laurent, with DJ PASTIS and DJ NUL.
Tickets are on sale! You can get them for $5 in advance, and for
latecomers, they're $6 at the door. You can grab them at the Student
Union of cegep du Vieux-Montreal (255 Ontario east, room A3.85, or
call 982-0496) and at the Student Union of Cegep du St-Laurent
(cegep St-Laurent, metro du College).
