The coalition against the siege of Gaza called for a demonstration this Saturday
at Tel Aviv. People came from the Jerusalem and Haifa regions too. After a
meeting at the local cinematec, about 1200 people marched - according to
organizations' blocks. The anarchist block included in addition to the general
placards black flags with encircled A, and a band of drums. About 120 of us
marched (and more often stopped marching near the head of the demonstration -
chanting with a chore accompanying the drum band. (One kilometer march on all
the right lanes of the main road towards the municipal square took more than an
hour...). A noisy visit to a McDonald place on the way resulted with the arrest
of one activist.
