NYC Anarchist Cirlce aftermath and Proposal Meetings
Last night, the NYC Anarchist Circle meeting was held, and I believe
anyone who attended it would consider it a great success. Roughly,
about 60-75 people were in attendence (which made it quite tight in
the small room). If I'm not mistaken, Christine will be sending out
an overview of what was discussed. This email, however, is going to
address the latter part of the gathering. Wtih about a half hour
left, we discussed proposals to form some sort of an NYC Anarchist
organization; about half , or a little less, stayed for this part.
This resulted in the following:

1. On Nov.1 (7:00 PM until 9:00 PM) there will be a meeting at the
same location-- the Muste building [339 Lafayette cnr. Bleecker St.;
6 to Bleecker St.; B, D, F, V to B'way-Lafayette; R, W to Eighth
St.], to compose a detailed proposal for forming the organization.
Anyone who wants to take part in this process is welcome to come.

2. On. Tuesday Nov. 15 (7:00 PM until 9:00 PM) is at the same
location as the first, Muste building [339 Lafayette cnr. Bleecker
St.; 6 to Bleecker St.; B, D, F, V to B'way-Lafayette; R, W to Eighth
St.] there will be a second meeting to ratify the proposal. Here,
there also will be room to amend the proposal in any way the
collective grouping in attendence sees fit. Hopefully, by the end of
this meeting, a new NYC Anarchist organization will be born.

Just to note, the firt meeting (Nov.1) is for anyone interesting is
actually taking part in composing the initial proposal. Once this is
completed, it will then be brought to the Nov. 15 meeting. By this
time, hopefully, there will only be some minor amendments, and then
will be up for ratification. Therefore, even if you do not take part
in the intial composition of the proposal, you will have a chance to
have input at the second meeting. If there are any questions, feel
free to ask. See you there.

p.s. Anyone who is interested in taking part who was not at the last
night's meeting, is welcome to come.

Peace, Love, and Anarchy,
