To keep in touch with what we're doing, and to discuss questions concerning
the movement in Los Angeles -- contact us if you want to be added to the list).
Our next meeting is happening on Sunday March 27th at 33 1/3 Bookstore
and Gallery 1200 N Alvarado (Off of Sunset in Echo Park)
We're meeting from 3pm to 7pm (usually we meet from 5-7) to allow for
more discussion and to give birth to the foundation, and discuss the
structure and purpose in particular of the LACN (so we can sustain this
organization and so our future actions and events will be much more
effective and organized, and we can actually follow through on some
plans and create new ones collectively). Bring food, and ideas.

At our last meeting we had delegates and peope who work with: LACN
--Santa Monica College's Anti War on the World Coalition (AWWC), San
Diego Organic Collective and LACN, Pasadena Anarchist Collective,
LACN-Los Angeles City College, LACN - South Gate High School and the
Falla Collective, Earth First (N. California and Oregon) and Black Star.

To receive copy of the minutes from meeting, contact us at

Updates:
-Regional Bilingual (English and Spanish) newsletter for the Network,
proposed name "The Collective Voice," is still accepting contributions
from writers, artists and poets.

-Freedom Uprising Festival (being coordinated by the Anti-War on the
World Coalition SMC) is set for April 30th ("If I can't dance, it's not
my revolution! "-Emma Goldman) from 3pm-9pm in Santa Monica College

-May Day Week of Action (May 1st -may 7th)

We will also discuss, campaigns we can support, building mutual aid
alliances, support and communication (overall the purpose of the LACN).

=====================================================
Mission Statement
The Los Angeles Collective Society Network
We believe that by union and solidarity, we can achieve a
fundamental change.

This is why students, workers, and activists are coming together to
fight against capitalism which is the cause of all the misery here
and around the world affecting humanity.

One of the important things for us to achieve a better society is to
organize ourselves, and take direct action.

In order for action and organization to be effective we need to have
autonomy, union, direct democracy, a collective vision, and co-operation
amongst ourselves. We're an anti-authoritarian network opposed to the
vanguard structure in the revolutionary movement.

If you think you can have a better life than the one you're offered
you can join the movement.
