The first issue of The Alarm has just been completed. It will be out on
the streets with everyone else during the demonstrations this afternoon
against the occupation of Iraq, on the second anniversary of the US
invasion. The Alarm is a radical zine from Houston that supports and
promotes the hallmarks of Peoples Global Action, as a revolutionary
alternative to exploitation and war. The Alarm’s first issue has
information from more than a dozen local organizations that are organizing
for and end to oppression. In this issue you'll find submissions from:
The Alarm
Anti-Racist Action
Amazon Xociety
Autonomous People of Color
Bill Hicks Resurrection Laboratory
Chicana/o Student Alliance
Dirty South Earth First!
Food Not Bombs
Hurricane Collective
Paper Machete Artists Collective
Radical Cheerleaders
Radical Encuentro Camp
Radical Women’s Group
TAZmatic Sound System

Locally you can pick up a copy from The Station Museum, Corazon, The Bill
Hicks Resurrection Laboratory, and KPFT radio station (they should be
dropped off by Monday).

If you want a copy and live somewhere else, or want more information,
please write to alarm@riseup.net or:
