Many of you in the Northeastern United States have responded to our
call for solidarity and have expressed an intention to attend the trial of
organizer Daniel Gross. It is now very likely that the Jan. 14 court
date will include a favorable resolution of the case without going to
trial. Thus, please do not give up your valuable time to attend court.
We will let everyone know what ends up transpiring on Friday.
Thank you deeply for your support of Daniel which has included a
major petition effort spearheaded by Tom Good and international
demonstrations coordinated by the British IWW. An extra special
thanks to everyone who was planning on taking a day-off from work
to come to court and to folks who were planning to come from other
states.

Our hearts of course are with the remaining RNC defendants and all
political prisoners. Please consider attending the trial of the APOC
defendants who were brutally attacked by the New York Police
Department. They are asking supporters to pack the Brooklyn
Criminal Courthouse on February 7th.

In this, the centenary year of the IWW, we call out once again to our
imprisoned sisters and brothers, "You're in there for us, we're out
here for you."

In Solidarity,

IWW Starbucks Workers Union
