________________________________________________

Dear comrades, --- We are happy to announce that the "Feria del Libro Anarquista" (Anarchist
Bookfair) has now reached its 5th year and will be held, as in previous years,
at Plaza del Carmen on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th April 2005. There will also
be the usual series of presentations and events in the preceding week. For now,
the organizing collectives are: the Distribuidora Soroll, the Ateneo Libertario
Al Margen, the local Valencia CNT-AIT branch, the Librería Sahiri and the
Fundación Salvador Seguí. The organization is open to any suggestions,
contributions or proposals that can improve the exhibition and contribute to
making it an interesting and pleasant encounter. The objective of the Valencia
Anarchist Bookfair are:
* to create contacts between various publishers of anarchist material and
encourage good relations between them;
* to bring literature, history, information, images and contacts regarding the
anarchist movement to the largest number of people possible;
* to work together for the alternative distribution of this material;
* to present books, people and groups who can help spread ideas for action and
encourage anti-authoritarian thought and action.

NOTE: Despite the Bookfair being described as Anarchist, there is no limitation
on participation by other positions as long as they are autonomous,
anti-authoritarian, assemblyist and non-commercial.

At present, the following events are being planned:

* Bookfair: Stalls of various publishers, collectives, cultural centres,
distributors, magazines, fanzines, etc. for the distribution of their material.

* Book presentations: Presentation of the latest published works. It would be
nice if collectives were to give us the chance to contact authors in order to
involve them in the presentations.

* Debates: Debates and talks on topical questions of interest.

* Other activities: Theatre, poetry, videos, slideshows, exhibitions, parties,
dinnners, etc.

Financing:

We want to self-manage the costs of the Bookfair with the activities that are
carried out. We also suggest having a raffle with prizes donated by all
participants. Economic contributions from participating groups are welcome.
Authors of books presented during the Fair will have expenses for one journey
and one meal paid. Expenses of publishers and distributors must be met by
themselves.

Publicity:
The organizing collectives are producing posters, leaflets and other forms of
advertising in Valencia and the surrounding area. Posters and leaflets can be
sent to collectives outside the area. We would ask counter-information groups
to publicise the Bookfair as much as possible.

Venue:
As already indicated, the Bookfair will be situated at Plaza del Carmen (in the
old town). The various presentations will take place at the Ateneo Libertario
Al Margen (Palma, 3) and at the Librería Sahiri (Danzas, 5). Any changes will
be included in the final version of the posters.

Stalls:
We wouldrequest anyone who can to bring their own stalls. Should this not be
possible, please let us know well in advance. Anyone who wishes to participate
but cannot come in person should:
a) send catalogues for distribution and exhibition
b) contact Soroll, Sahiri and the other organizers.

Accomodation:
If you do not have accomodation in Valencia, please let us know how many people
there are in your group so that we can organize accomodation in private houses,
squats and so on. It would be better to bring a sleeping bag.

Meals:
Food will be available throughout the Bookfair. Later we will indicate where,
what is available and how much it will cost.

Dates:
>From 3-10 April 2005. Stalls will be set up only on 9-10 April, from 10.00am to
10.00pm approx.
