Zojuist is Ahmed Awwad, een van de prominente activisten in de geweldloze strijd
tegen de Apartheid Muur/hek (afgekondigd in de naam van “de veiligheid” om
Palestijnse gebieden voor Israel te annexeren), vrijgelaten uit administratieve
detentie. De poging van de Israelische veiligheidsagentschappen om hem als
serieuze terrorist af te schilderen mislukten – voornamelijk vanwege breed
gesteunde acties van israelische activisten die hem kennen van gezamenlijke
acties.
