ANARCHA-FEMINIST FESTIVAL IN SKOPJE

Here we go. It's gonna be for the first time ever, as most of the things that we just
start doing in Macedonia> Femme fest is going to be a two-day and night anarcha feminist
festival, beggining 23th and finishing 24th of april, located in Skopje.
It's a tottaly diy fest encompassing workshops, discussions, film projections,
performances, party, gig, and everything that includes criticism, fantasy and fun. This
eclectic form of the fest we hope that will illustrate the painful problem of sexism and
the need for resisting this retarded view (on which macedonian patriarchal/heterosexist
society is not immune of course).
So, hopefully the apathetic mood among women and men, will be exchanged
with more active and critical atmosphere, and will give women a self-confidence
and courage to be more involved in fighting sexism. So, if you want to
support this idea (a lot of women to meet and be critical, clever and
creative), you can participate with sending us individual donation,
or it would be great  if you can make a benefit gig, action, cause we’re
little short on money for travel costs for the bands and people who are
doing the workshops on the fest… So every donation, benefit, or any kind
of help is welcomed and appreciated!!.
