A-Infos (en) US, San Francisco Bay Area: Muslims and Anarchists riot and shut down Colin Powell speaking event

War CriminalsA small riot erupted on De Anza community college
campus in the South Bay on Friday, Nov. 11 in response to a speech
happening by infamous war criminal and capitalist Colin Powell. The
speech was effectively stopped minutes after beginning, Powell was
evacuated, and yuppie audience members were forced to stay inside
the Flint Center for two extra hours due to the "violent protests outside."
A crowd of 300 people, largely comprised of Muslims and Anarchists,
ran around the campus causing havoc for three hours. The direct
action protestors charged police lines multiple times attempting to
break into the Flint Center (with one successful and exciting attempt!)
Building entrances and streets where audience members cars were
coming through were blocked, and and a few bourgeois audience
members were pushed around. The Flint Center's fire alarm was also
pulled--throwing the bourgeois fuckers inside into a panic. Many
people were throwing rocks, bricks, and eggs at police officers and
property for almost two hours. In one heated situation, protestors
charged police lines, pushed the pigs to the ground, and tore down the
police barricade in front of a side entrance, which was then attacked.
Then protestors began jumping up and down on cop cars, and three
cop cars had their windows smashed. Also, a few protestors snuck into
the speech before the riot broke out and heckled Powell.

This action accomplished its mission--stopping Colin Powell from
speaking and shutting down the event. Furthermore, the militancy was
quite unexpected and spontaneous--many more people than usual
participated, especially in the street fighting with the pigs. Also, it was
great to see Anarchists and Muslims fighting side-by-side for freedom
and revolution.

Many protestors were hit by the pigs with fists, foots, and batons. And
again the police revealed the white supremacist nature of
capitalism....Around 6 protestors were detained, arrested, and
brutalized (held down and repeatedly beaten, mace, stepped on, kicked
in the faces, etc.)...and all of them were of Muslim, Arab, or African
origin! Pigs questioned by the press afterwards didn't hesitate from
explicitly saying they used racial profiling and associated Muslims and
Arabs with terrorism! As of this time, all of them have been released
and legal updates will be posted.

Note: This action occurred almost a month ago but since it was such
an awesome, effective, and militant night the word needs to get out
