Date Thu, 04 Aug 2005 10:04:08 +0300

The Anarchist Library at City College of San Francisco is a
student run library that is open to both students and the
general public. We offer a wide array of anarchist books, zines,
magazines, and videos that you are welcomed to borrow. We
also have a couple computers with internet access that are
available for public use as well as telephones for local Bay Area
calls. The only thing we ask of people coming to use the Anarchist
Library is to please respect the space. We share office space with
two other groups, The Queer Alliance and The Catholic Club,
something to keep in mind when your hanging out.

PLEASE DONATE. We are always looking for anarchist book
donations. Although we recieve school funding for most of our
books, we could always use more. The Anarchist Library is a
very active infoshop with a wide array of people with different
interests of which are reading selection does not always cater
to. Point being, if you have some old anarchist books that you
just need to pass on then please think about us when you do,
somebody passing through our space is sure to appreciate what
you've got.

ANARCHIST CLASSES. Another Aspect of the Anarchist
Library is our classes which are open to the public free of
charge. We started the classes at the beginning of the 2004'
Spring Semester with a class on the History of Anarchism in
California, taught by Barry Pateman Phd., of the Emma
Goldman Papers in Berkeley. Classes for Fall Semester 2005'
is still in the works. If you are intersted in starting a class or
study group on some aspect of anarchism then please let us
know. We can help you get it off the ground.

RESERVING SPACE FOR MEETINGS. If you are an
anarchist group that would like to make use of our space for
meetings or study groups then please contact
sea@anarchistlibrary.org so that we can reserve a space for you
and your group.

The Anarchist Library is open to the public Mon.-Fri., 8 AM-6
PM durring the Fall and Spring Semesters. We are located on
the CCSF Phelan Campus in the Student Union, MLK office
