The Los Angeles Collective Network has changed its name to the Southern
California Collective Network, because it has collectives participating
and has stepped up communication from all of Southern California.
We meet Sundays from 3-5pm at 33 1/3 Books and Gallery 1200 N. Alvarado
(off of Sunset in Echo Park in the bookstore's back room)
We have solidified our purpose as a communication network. We want and
are facilitating unification of Goals, communication and support, mutual
aid, communication amongst the collectives, and getting familiar with
each other. Actions will be planned by the collectives involved, the
network will build support for the collectives where each is supporting
other collectives to fight fragmentation amongst the left and the
anti-authoritarian left.

The main project of the Network would be an internal newsletter, to
challenge tactics and raise debate, while building communication, and
informing each other, and non-activists.

There's definately a need in Los Angeles for somthing more cohesive and
with more non-hierarchical structure, and it was suggested by a member
of the network, to look into building a chapter of the Southern
California Anarchist Federation in Los Angeles itself that would be in
solidarity but separate fro the Southern California Collective Network
-- with different structure, guidelines, membership, and a constitution.

Present: Pasadena Anarchist Collective, Southern California Anarchist
Federation, Falla Collective, Anti-War ont the World Collective,
Progressive Alliance LACC

Discussion on Consensus Process: which consists of discussion and
compromise, and if we can't reach compromise we take a vote - super
majority wins. We take a vote if someone is blocking the decision.
People can choose to stand aside if they disagree, and choose not to
vote. Everybody has their way on the topic, weakness of consensus is
usually its two people arguing or two groups.
