An anti-authoritarian collective can only legitimately be defined as such if it
serves to develop the critical thought of its members and of all the people
that are in contact with it.
It is this critical thought that enables one to form an interpretation of one's
social reality. Only critical thought allows us to escape the most totalitarian
lie of our times - that we live in a world of freedom, of multiple opportunities,
and so on. It is indispensable if we are to distance ourselves from the non-values
of the god Consumption, which this society constantly seeks to impose on us.
However, critical thought cannot be "taught", nor would such a thing make
sense. But what we can do is to show people the reality, without distorting or
manipulating it. They may then be able to judge in their own time what has
occurred silently, drowned out by the din of all the trivialities and
meaningless words.

By becoming aware of the social struggle, of the real "class war" which is
going on in today's capitalist society, we can begin to understand to what
extent we are being held in a sort of information bubble where we are told so
much, though none of it of any true significance. Is not a matter of instilling
our ideology or our vision of the world (though we have no pretensions of being
"neutral"), but rather of stimulating a different reading of the reality and of
becoming conscious and sensitive to solidarity, to the social struggles of
today. The 1st of May means struggle!
