We started out at the War Memorial and marched through the streets
stopping traffic. Down Elgin St. and then onto the bridge which leads
up to the Rideau Centre (a big mall).
The CEOs and representatives were from SNC Lavalin, Lockheed
Martin, Boeing and other companies.
We started out at the War Memorial and marched through the streets
stopping traffic. Down Elgin St. and then onto the bridge which leads
up to the Rideau Centre (a big mall). Once at the Rideau Centre, we
climbed the stairs outside which led to the back of the Congress
Centre which is part of the mall. There was patio-area that had doors
leading to a room with tables covered with white cloth. The bastards
were getting ready to eat I guess.

We ran to the doors yanking them all seeing which ones were locked
and unlocked. We found a couple unlocked and charged in at the
CEOs but they had hired private guards who pushed us back. We
kept trying to push the guards back, throwing bullets and bullet
casings at them (something that is done against SNC Lavalin because
they develop the bullets which go to Iraq).

They held us out until the police came and we had to move away (in
total we were about 50 in number). We marched down the stairs
again and went to another entrance that leads to the Congress Centre.
Alas, that was guarded as well.

The protest now turned into an anti-capitalist one and we ran to one
of the main entrances of the mall and tried to get in but the cops had
already gotten there only about a second after we got there and after a
great deal of pushing back and forth we moved away from the doors.

After this we went to a little park area where the Catapult Collective
(http://catapultcollective.org) thanked us for our participating.
