** 28th September - Paris - "Les causeries littéraires du C.I.R.A. à Paris"
Ronald Creagh will present his two latest books and will speak about writing
and reading anarchist books.
"L’imagination dérobée": The imagination has always been concealed by power.
With the assistance of the media, it even intervenes in our dreams. It is the
social system which determines the rhythms of life. In "L’imagination dérobée",
Ronald Creagh gives us a guided tour of the territories of power: towns, time
and democracy. Then, he studies the tools for manipulating the collective imagination:
transcendence, myth and Utopia. Lastly, he wonders whether humanity would be
able to effect radical change, should it seize the fire of the imagination.

"Sacco et Vanzetti", a new edition: In 1927, two Italian anarchists were
executed in the United States. In 1920 they had been accused of a murder and
for six years never once ceased to proclaim their innocence.

"L’imagination dérobée",
Atelier de création libertaire, 2004.
212 p. €14

"Sacco et Vanzetti",
Éditions de Paris, 2004.

Meeting on 28th September 2004 at 7.30pm, at La Passerelle, 3 rue Saint Hubert,
