On Tuesday, March 9, at 7:30pm, the Libertarian Book Club’s Anarchist Forum
welcomes Sachio Ko-Yin who on August 6, 1998 (the 53rd Anniversary of the bombing of
Hiroshima), along with his friend Daniel Sicken, hammered and made inoperative a Minuteman
III Missile in a Colorado Silo. Sachio was arrested, convicted of sabotage, and served 30
months time. In prison, Sachio spread the word of peace to his fellow inmates and wrote
for the Catholic Worker. Now released, Sachio continues to be involved in pacifist-anarchist
activities, reminding others of the need to destroy all weapons of mass destruction. After
speaking about the background of the Plowshares Movement and recent antiwar actions,
Sachio will answer questions from those attending and lead a discussion on what strategies
and tactics might work best today.

The event will take place at the Brecht Forum on the 10th floor
of 122 West 27th St. [between 6th and 7th Ave.], a short walk from
the 28th St. 1, 2, N, and R stops, the 34th St. B, D, and Q stop,
and the 23rd St. F and V stop

There is no set fee for the presentation, but a contribution to aid
the LBC is requested. If you have questions, contact the LBC/Anarchist
Forum, 212-979-8353 or roberterler-A-erols.com.
