Hello all, with less than a fortnight to go here's the latest update from
Manchester Radical Bookfair.
IMPORTANT: REQUEST FOR WORKSHOPS!
At the moment we have a couple of spaces for workshops available.
There will be workshops organised by the Solidarity Federation, Marc
Hudson and Dosummat (tbc).
Details to be announced.
If you would like to do a talk/ workshop please could you let us know
asap.

There's a couple of events the Friday before the bookfair you might be
interested in:
DO SUMMAT: FRIDAY 18TH JUNE 2004
Do summat present the fourth of the monthly get clued up events:
'get clued up bout immigration and refugees'
friday 18th june, from 7pm til very late at the Green Room on Whitworth
Street.
The event features music, film, fun and know-how with the common theme
of immigration and refugees
Speakers will be sharing their own experiences and knowledge...
Short films, hand picked by beyond tv, will show how immigration and
seeking asylum affects people's lives..
all this will be mixed up with manchester's finest DJ's and bands
playin an eclectic mix of funky beats from round the globe...
Entry is free, though donations are welcomed.
