If you live in the California area, or are in driving/getting there
area, you may consider coming to the bay area from Friday June 4th -
Wednesday June 9th. In what looks to be one of the best organized,
and especially anarchist mobilization in recent times, the gathering
will pull together various social justice and enivironmental groups
for a wide range of actions. Below are a run down of links and
events that will interest anarchists and anti-authoritarians.
Thursday June 3rd, SF: Various Spokescouncils and Teach Ins:

Friday June 4th, SF: Earth Liberation/Prisoner Teach In and
Discussion "Come spend an evening with earth liberation
activists. Dicussion on Earth Liberation Prisoners and prisoners
such as Jeffrey "Free" Luers, Billy Cottrell, Tre Arrow. We will
also be holding a round table discussion on issues affecting earth
liberation such as strategy and tactics. Finally at 9:30pm we will
be holding a mini-spokes council for Saturday's "Free" Free State
an temporary autonomous zone established in honor of Jeffrey

Saturday June 5th, SF: Temporary Autonomous Zone:
"Challenge the Unfair Practice of Charging Homeless People for
sleeping in Golden Gate Park. We will be establishing a
temporary autonomous zone in Golden Gate Park on Saturday at
4:00pm, meet at Haight/Stanyan Entrance to Golden Gate park.
Be prepared to sleep in the park and establish a TAZ community
space which will run throughout the duration of the Reclaim the

Saturday June 5th, SF: Anti War March and Anti-G8 Breakaway
March: "Meet at UN Plaza on Market between 7th & Hyde (Civic
Center BART) to march against the Iraq War (in a Reclaim the
Commons bloc), followed by an Anti-G8/Reclaim the Commons

Sunday June 6th, SF: Foie Gras Feed-in and protest. Foie gras is
made by pumping nuts and other fatty foods down a ducks mouth
until it's liver explodes, it is considered a upper class treat.
Advocates will serve ‘mock foie gras’ to interested
customers. The Duck Club Executive Chef, Frank Palmer, has
not responded to requests from local advocates to stop serving

Tuesday June 8th, SF: Shutdown G8 meetings! "Come to Market
& Powell on the morning of June 8th at 6:30am to get an action
orientation and to plug-in. On the first day of the G8 meetings in
Georgia, thousands will pour into San Francisco's streets to
SHUT-DOWN the biotech-pharmaceutical industry's annual
gathering of corporate execs and lobbyists -- BIO 2004. This
event is in solidarity with actions at Georgia's G8, and in
recognition of the fact that corporate powers -- like the
bio-pharmaceutical lobby -- are the driving force behind the
policies of the G8 that result in imperialist wars, environmental
destruction, racial & economic oppression, and the hostile
