Hello friends -- Some refugee rights activists in Montreal and Ottawa are
organizing a last-minute press scrum outside the National Press Theatre at
noon today (WEDNESDAY, December 29) to counter the "technical briefing" on
the Safe Third Country Agreement by Immigration Minister Judy Sgro and her
bureaucrats.  Your support at the press scrum is most welcome.
Our press scrum will begin at noon at 150 Wellington Street. However, we
will most likely be protesting earlier, around 11am, at the same location,
as the "official" press conference is starting at that time.
This is a last-minute notice, but your support is appreciated.
