Yesterday (29th of August) we have opened a stall
as a part of activities in Peace Festival organized
by Halkevleri (Community Centres) at Ahmet Arif
Park located in Dikmen Sokullu. In our stall, in
addition to Pilau Day invitation cards and posters,
we have had many copies of Inat! (Persistence),
Otonom X, Imlasiz periodicals and also samples from
Isimsiz (Nameless) and Abolishing the Borders
from Below magazines. Pilau Day call aroused great
interest, most of the invitation cards were
distributed. We had opened the stall at about 15:00
and closed up after it went dark at 20:30. In the
festival there were stalls of some NGOs in addition
to concerts etc. In the meaning of antimilitarist and
antiauthoritarian/anarchist propaganda, it was
worthwile to open a stall in such a festival that was
held in a neighbourhood park.
