Hello all, I'm sending you this email because I think you might be
interested in the sixth Manchester Radical Bookfair which will take
place on Saturday 5th June 2004 from 11.00am until 5.00pm at Bridge 5
Mill, 22A Beswick Street, Ancoats, Manchester.
The bookfair covers anarchism, peace, direct action and social change.
There will be books, stalls, ideas, discussions and workshops.
Please Note: The fair aims to promote and celebrate grassroots, non
hierarchical, DIY activsm and is not a platform for party politics!
Stalls: If you would like a stall at the event please contact:

We will then send you more information and confirm things.
Is there a cost?
The bookfair is a free event, however in order to cover costs (such as
printing, publicity, venue etc) we have a "suggested" minimum donation
of £5 per stall. However we are very flexible so if this will be a
problem please let us know and we'll sort something out!

Workshops/ Talks/ Discussions:
We are hoping to run five workshops/ talks on the day. These will start
at 11.30am then every hour.
If you would like to run one please contact us as soon as possible:
Please give us a brief summary of the workshop so we can put it in on
our publicity/ website.

Please help by promoting the event on your website, on mailing lists.
If you can help distribute posters (A3) and leaflets (A5) at events/
spaces please send us an address and we'll mail some out. Let us know
how many you want!
Alternatively you can download an A4 poster from the website:

Get Involved:
If you are interested in helping organise the event please contact:

Gigs/ Social Event:
If anyone is interested in organising a social event/ gig/ whatever
after the bookfair or if there is something we could link in to please
let us know.

You can find details of previous bookfairs on the website at
We'll be updating the pages soon!
