The overwhelming crisis of homelessness and/or helplessness in
the Antelope Valley, the closing down of local shelters and the
constant police harassment against the poor have led the
Autonomous Valley Collective to launching a local FNB chapter.
Hundreds of people walk the streets of the Antelope Valley every
day in search of the trash the people living in the endless track
homes, happen to throw out -just for something to fill their
stomachs. The economic inequality in the valley is so extreme
that one can walk down Palmdale Blvd. at 6pm and watch the
excess of our society role by in what we know as H2s and
Suburbans and less than an hour later those same streets are filled
with the refugees of our current economic state.

This current state of living (or in most cases-dying) needs serious
change and if there is one place for change, it is at home therefore
we as the Autonomous Valley Collective will work on our own
streets through food not bombs and other like-minded projects to
destroy the boundaries between all of us.

This Saturday, April 17th, 5pm, Eastside Park, Avenue I,

Make Food Not Bombs

From Autonomous Valley Collective Homepage

Autonomous Valley is an Anti-Authoritarian Collective out of the
Antelope Valley. We look to relate what is happening around the
world to what is happening right here in our own neighborhoods
To establish an Active Anti-Authoritarian presence in the
Antelope Valley
This site will serve as an establishing point to start local projects,
connect all anti authoritarians in and around the Antelope Valley,
and to document actions.

propaganda project AVC is undertaking.
03/22/04 ~ Cleaned up the site
Added most of the pamphlets we have to the literature section for
Possible upcoming projects: Meeting/potluck at local park,
FNB benefit show (to gather up canned foods and some cash),
A paper we put together directed towards American prisoners
outlining the fundamental functions of the PIC (Prison Industrial
Complex-for those not in the know) in an attempt to inform them
of what is happening to them and that there are people working
against the PIC and (if nothing else) get this circulated in the
Lancaster prison, somehow,
The benefit comp is being put together and will be finished soon
depending on how well everything works out with all of it.
