Hi, everyone! From: zilonis evgueni@ <zilonis-A-newmail.ru>
Here is Zhenya from Petersburg with some information. Keep in touch and best wishes.
Volja (Russian word meaning "freedom" and "will") is an
international anarchist paper that was founded by several
anarchists in Moscow in 1989. From the very beginning and
throughout its history Volja was a sort of "additional" publication
for Moscow-based anarchists, or a "replacement" paper that was
issued during the times of the main publication's crisis. This can
partly explain the long periods of silence between issues.
"Volja" #16 (September 2003): Lack of something (editorial),
radical environmentalists' protests in Azov and Ekaterinburg,
summer protests in Berlin (from russian Indymedia website),
anarchist conference in Warsaw and noborder camp in Krynki, the
trial of NRA (leftist group, accused of terrorist actions) and
anarchists' attitude towards this case, 15 years of anarchist
street activity in Moscow (a list of prominent actions from 1988
until 2003), a review of a fantasy novel by an anarchist from Kiev,
130 anniversary of A. Bogdanov (unorthodox left social-democrat,
author of libertarian-communist utopia "Red Star"), a feature on
the band System Of A Down, Personal is political (interview with
finnish hardcore-punk band Hero Dishonest).

Also the papers' collective launched a website - http://volja.nm.ru
Now it contains most articles from last 3 years of paper's
existence and in future we plan to make all issues of Volja
avaliable online. In the library section we collect relevant texts
from other russian-language anarchist publications (Vugluskr,
Naperekor, Rainbow Keepers, Obschina, Aspirin Ne Pomozhet et
al.). The international section of the website contains the basic
history of Volja, translated into several languages (and more to
