This weekend sees the 7th annual FESTIVAL OF FREE THOUGHT
organized by the Cremona section of the Federazione dei
Comunisti Anarchici. The event will take place on Saturday
22nd Novembre 2003, beginning at 4pm, at the "Cascinetto" in
Via Maffi, Cremona, in northern Italy.
Apart from the traditional areas of "conviviality" and stands
(bookstalls etc), there will be a performance by the group
"Compagine del Fiocco Nero", a musical presentation of some
of the "classics" of libertarian poetry and, to finish with,
a concert by the group "The Slave's Inn".

Naturally, there'll also be plenty of good, cheap food with
typical dishes, but also vegetarian and organic food, too.
And of course a bar.

As for the content, there are two main initiatives. At 4pm,
there will be a debate entitled "The tertiary sector:
spontaneous grassroots initiatives and new forms of
association", with the particpation of people involved in
this area. The second initiative, at 6.30pm, will be a
presentation of the new magazine "Antipodi" by one of its
editorial team, Adriana Dadà. This is a new six-monthly
anarchist publication which aims to mix class-struggle
anarchist analysis and ideas together with cultural and
artistic expression, all with an anti-authoritarian approach.

Entrance to the event is free and the organizers look forward
to seeing as good an attendance as in previous years.
