For all those in the SF / Bay Area:
Friday November 21st The Black Flag Project Where music and Revolution meet
with performances from: Feenom Circle, Labrie and the ALLIANC, Lia Rose,
the Collaborative Arts Insurgence, and an Open Mic, Hosted by Emcee Lynx
2263 Mission St. San Francisco, 7:30pm-midnight, $5 Donation, no one turned away.
The event will be held every month at the 2263 Mission
space (formerly mission records), and will showcase
local musicians standing in defiance of the Patriot
Act and the overwhelming climate of fear by putting
their message in their music.

The primary focus of the event is Hip Hop and Spoken
Word, but all types of music are welcome.  We are also
looking to put together a live house band, so if you
play an instrument and are down for spontaneous jam
sessions, come on down.

Singers, MC's, Poets, etc.  are all welcome on the
open mic, the only rule is that you have to keep it
Conscious and Positive (ie: no sexist, racist,
homophobic, or bling-bling bullshit!).
