An unrepresentative call to action from someone to
anyone who’s thinking of going to sunday’s anti-war
rally:

It’s time to misbehave:

discipline is for armies  prisons  schools 
workplaces.  All the places we're trying to escape.
Not for rallies and protests.

Protesters don't need marshals to guide us in
appropriate action. People are angry and horrified
at the actions of governments in this country and
others.  We are able to make our own decisions about
how we act on this.

We're not the ones who have to worry about disturbing
the peace. Peace was killed long ago by those in
power, and asking politely isn't going to bring it
back.

We don't want to see marshals acting like cops,
containing protesters in the sanctioned area, herding
us like cattle. We refuse to be contained within a
designated protest zone that leaves the rest of the
city in business-as-usual.

We also refuse to limit our actions to those the
middle-class self-appointed leaders decide are
respectable. We're not respectable people: our
politics aren&'t respectable. And we have no respect
for those who appoint themselves to lead us.

We invite you to join us, in ungovernable desire and
sheer damn style.

Mutiny bloc & trashbloc & friends are meeting from 12
noon, at the corner of Pitt & Hay sts  that's the far
left hand corner of the park if you're heading from
central.  Look for the pirate flags and the black
flags.

Suggested costume: disco*pirate*trash:*:anything to
piss off north shore against the war*
