Dear comrades & friends,
The Workers Solidarity Alliance (WSA) initiated and/or participated in
several events these past fews days in support of the Coalition of Immokalee
Workers' hunger strike against Taco Bell.

Here's a short update on New York and San Francisco. Other WSA members
participated in events at Corporate HQ in Irvine, California and in Atlanta,
Georgia.

On Tuesday, February 25th, in San Francisco, WSA members and friends
participated in a march from the Pacific Stock Exchange to a Taco Bell with
about 100 people, sponsored by a variety of organizations, including Art &
Revolution, Left-Turn, Mexico Solidarity Committee,CISPES. James Tracy and
George Terrado of the Molotov Mouths spoken word group did some of their
inflammatory poetry.

In Manhattan, the Bust the Bell information distribution went well at the
Taco Bell at the 331 6th Avenue. Members of the WSA and students from
Fordham
University in the Bronx distributed more then 600 leaflets at this location
in the frigid weather.

On Friday, February 28th WSA participated in a demonstration/picket at Taco
Bell on Broadway and 173 Street, also in Manhattan. About 40 people took
part
in the lively information distribution and picket sponsored by Make The Road
By Walking. Members of the NYC Branch of the Industrial Workers of the World
(IWW-NYC) and others also took part.

This picket included lots of noise, lively picket signs and large tomatos.
