-Somerville Theatre Projectionists are demanding union recognition.
-Management has locked out all pro-union projectionists for five weeks now.
-The theatres continues to operate illegally with unlicensed scabs, putting
patrons at risk. Friday, June 13 6:00 PM, Davis Square, Somerville.
> RALLY FOR LOCKED OUT SOMERVILLE THEATRE PROJECTIONISTS
Join union members, labor supporters, and concerned citizens as we demand
that Mel Fraiman recognize the projectionists' union and take back all
locked-out workers. Let's show Mel that Somerville is a pro-labor town and we
will not stand for his union-busting tactics!

Speakers will include: Rep. Patricia Jehlen, Jobs With Justice, locked-out
projectionists, and union and community members.

Co-sponsored by IATSE local 182, Jobs With Justice, and Greater Boston
Central Labor Council. For more information please call (617) 629-9841 or
email at Pissed_Off_Projectionists (at) yahoo.com.

Mel is the owner of the somerset theatre in sommerville, mass., who
has been locking ou the workers after they went on strike for union
recongnition, even though they've agreed to unconditionally return
pending a NLRB union recognition election. Members of the Class
Against Class anarchist collective are among the workers being
locked out, and have been working to mobilize both the anarchist
community and the local sommerville community in support of union
recognition. It's been a pretty heated campaign, and help from the
regional anarchist community is greatly needed. more info is on the
NEFAC web page, http://www.nefac.net
