In August the Perben law was adopted which reorganizes the
judicial system
in a way that it increases it?s repression (the innocence
presumption principle
is sabotaged and the provisional arrest becomes systematic, the
extensive
use of anonym witnesses, the new prisons being build, the life
of young people
under 18 destroyed, one can go to prison since 13 years old,
etc.).

Between 14 to 25th January the Sarkozy law is going to be
discuss and voted at
National Assembly. It is a tougher version of the ?Daily
Security Law? voted
by the left parties in November 2001.

The result is: in France, today, one can go to prison (for 6
months) only because
you didn?t pay the tub or tram ticket, or because you were part
of a group of 5, or
more, people at the entrance of a building, or because you said
?fuck you? to a teacher
etc, etc.

The people that are not within the middle bourgeoisie norm, from
the non-documented, poor,
the young ones living in peripheral quarters, the prostitutes,
the rom, to the ravers, etc.,
are all subject to prison, every day.

Today in France, a policeman can kill a ?young man from the
peripheral quarters?
To be judged guilty of homicide, but be let free because he has
a tough job!

Today, Saturday 11th January, various left organizations (NGOs,
unions and the socialist and the communist parties) as well as
extreme-left authoritarian, about some 2000
people, marched from the usual way from the ?République? to
?Bastille? in protest
against the security laws from the right wing government. But in
the call for this demo they ?forgot? to mention that the law
voted by the left when she was in power in 2001, is already
very ?securitarian? one.

So, other organizations (Anti-Securitarian Collective, made up
of various organizations and individuals networks) were waiting
for this demo to remind them that, amongst those who
Were demonstrating against the ?Security? laws made by the
right, there were those that voted similar ?security? laws when
the left was in government, not long ago.
This reminding exercise was performed by some with eggs and
tomatoes.
The Scalp/Reflex (No Pasaran network), pushed the socialists out
of the demo,
a cleansing of the public space and not letting them come inside
again.

Other groups from the Anti-securitarian Collective went through
a parallel street
to the amnesiac demo, came before these at the ending point,
there
waiting for them.

So,
For today more than 40 organizations, amongst them
anti-authoritarians, called
another demo against security laws, and there were 3000 ?

Times are hard and it seems the horizon is ever more cloudy to
those
resisting.

So long!

Jorge
