From: schmidtm-A-sundaytimes.co.za
Thursday 31 of July: near midnight unknown persons threw an incendiary bomb
of the Mototov type against the house of the parents of Federico Martelli, secretary
general of the anarchist organization Rebel (Auca) and a member of the national desk of
the United Popular Movement (MUP) in the city of La Plata, Argentina.
The bomb exploded against one of the windows, without causing much damage
since it apparently extinguished in the air before it crashed against the 2nd flat.
Monday 4 of August: around 10pm, again the same persons unknown made threatening calls to
relatives of the companera, saying "we are going to give it to her", making
reference to the MUP, and making other threats in a similar fashion.

Set against these facts, the family of
companera Martelli laid a legal complaint,
without a great deal of expectation that their
protest would have much effect or protect
them against murderous attacks and threats in
the future.

Though already we have begun to evaluate the
possible origins of the attack and the threats,
it is hard to be exact with information
because so many officials and public representatives
have been energetically opposed to companera Martelli,
the MUP and Auca.

During her militant career, Federico Martelli intervened
actively in university student politics, being
between the years 2000 and 2001 the regional
co-ordinator of the [anarchist] student group black
water (aguanegra) and a member of the executive
desk of the FULP (University Confederacy of
La Plata) during 2002, a year in which the FULP had
a hard clash with the authorities of the University
to the point of being physically attacked and then
denounced as deserving jail time by one of its

This year she was the regional co-ordinator
Quilmas of the MUP [one of the most militant Argentine
social movements] and at present is secretary general
of Auca and a member of the national desk
of the MUP. In representation of this, she had strong
discussions with provincial and national officials,
all of the apparatus of the Justicialista Party [the
so-called "ruling" party - if that term can be applied to a
country where the working class holds a large degree
of power in its own hands - that stands in the
Third Position fascist tradition of former President
Juan Peron, friend to Nazi Holocaust engineers like
Adolf Eichmann and Josef Mengele] .

To this, she has added active campaigns through
Auca against the sectors of the right that dream of
restoring the Menemista model [referring to previous
neo-liberal/fascist President Carlos Menem, a
Peronist] despite the ruin of our country and the
hunger of millions of countrymen.

It given the impunity with the one that these groups
are handled and the minimal effectiveness of the
Argentine justice system, our organization will set
in motion its own investigation to determine those
responsible for these acts that recall the past of
argentina and will apply its own just punishment.
