Czech, Jihlava town: Demonstration against NATO summit and militarism
21.11.2002
Protest actions against NATO summit will not take place in capital city
of Prague only. Federation of Social Anarchists decided in cooperation
with Antifascist Action Jihlava to help another demonstration in
November 21st, in Jihlava. Jihlava is situated approximately between
Praha and Brno, metropolis of Bohemia and Moravia, respectively. Jihlava
is situated some 120 km southeast of Prague, close to D1 central
highway.

The reason to hold such action in Jihlava is that the peak of protests
is occurring during ordinary workday. We want to enable number of
people, living in eastern part of the country, almost hundreds of
kilometres away from capital city, to show publicly their resistance to
NATO and militarism. Moreover we reject to become part of the same
antiglobalisation media spectacle, where many bolsheviks, democrats and
nationalists take part.

In case that foreign comrades experience problems (esp. because of
police harassment) during Prague actions, they are warmly welcomed at
our Jihlava action, on Thursday, November 21st, starting at 4 pm, in
park, close to Ice Hockey Stadium.
