on december 20th 2001, the people of argentina
declared
that their government
their imf-imposed slavery
their bosses and corporations and banks
... ARE IRRELEVANT.

for the next two weeks, they overthrew 5 presidents.

in the year since then, factories have been taken over
by the
people who work in them. banks have been occupied and
turned into
self-organized communities. popular assemblies have
grown to replace
the corrupt police and governments.

now their rebellion threatens to undo the stranglehold
of
capitalism in latin america. as this is written,
thousands of
people from across argentina are marching to the
federal capital
for an enormous convergence on the one-year
anniversary of this
historic uprising which continues to gain strength 
and momentum.
