A couple of us were at a panel on the Chechen question today to inform
people about the situation of refugees from Chechnya in Poland and Europe in
general and to give the situation a political analysis.
There was quite a lot of interest in the situation of refugees in Poland.
This year, out of 370 who apllied for status, only 25 received it, mostly
due to pressure on Poland not to allow elements who may pose a "danger to
society" to stay.

On Dec. 11, all the Russian consulates and the Embassy in Poland will be
picketed to remember the beginning of the first Chechen far. Anarchist
Federation groups in Gdansk, Krakow, Warsaw and Poznan, plus some other
groups (Roszhak is an ex-member of the Poznan group and he has a "Left
Front" of sorts) will organize this. We want to call special attention to
the situation of the refugees since the action in Ingushetia.
