CNT-AIT Delegate Roberto Paneque Villodres fired from his job

Union Delegate Roberto Paneque Villodres was fired from his job with
the local government of Bisbal d'Empordà (Girona) for distributing
union educational material critical of the policies of the Mayor.
The CNT states that these charges are untrue, as comrade Villodres had
refrained from distrubting any of the materials on advice of his union
to avoid arrest.
The CNT states that their educational campaign against the policies of
the Mayor and his political party will continue and intensify
They request that letters of protest demanding immdiate reinstatement
for Roberto Paneque Villodres be adressed to the following , among
others

Sept 24th, while putting up union posters in the town of Mollet, three
members of the CNT-AIT were stopped by local police who demanded they
remove the posters. Although the comrades remained calm and obeyed the
demands under verbal protest, one CNTista was struck in the head by a
police agent. He was treated and released at the local hospital and
filed charges against the violent officer.
The CNT press release said they ere convinced this was not an isolated
incident but part of a pattern of violations of human rights.
