For Immediate Release: 4+ WTO SCREENINGS IN FEBUARY

February screening schedule of WTO videos from the documentary series
Showdown in Seattle: Five Days That Shook the WTO.

Back by popular demand, these special screenings of Showdown in Seattle
focus on the real issues behind the WTO. Because access to the satellite
broadcasts during the WTO was limited, and audience response has been
overwhelming, hundreds of screenings have been organized across the
world. Four screenings are scheduled for February 2000 in the Bay Area.

This new one hour screening-edit of Showdown in Seattle features an
on-the-ground, non-corporate perspective and in-depth analysis you
won't find anywhere else, in addition to incredible footage of
police repression and popular resistance.

The program is made up of segments shot and edited on location in
downtown Seattle by an unprecedented collaboration of video producers
from around the U.S. working under the umbrella of the Independent
Media Center (www.indymedia.org). Producers include: Big Noise
Productions, Changing America, Headwaters Action Video Collective,
Paper Tiger TV, VideoActive, and Whispered Media. Satellite broadast
was by Deep Dish TV.

Videos of the full 5 show series will be available at all 4
screenings or by visiting http://www.videoactivism.org.
